BBL (Brazilian Butt Lifting)

is a surgical procedure that uses fat from other parts of the body to augment the size and shape of the buttocks. It is a two-step procedure that begins with liposuction, followed by fat grafting.

In the first step, the surgeon uses a cannula to remove fat from areas such as the abdomen, hips, or thighs. The fat is then purified and processed to remove any impurities.

In the second step, the surgeon injects the fat into the buttocks. The fat is injected in a way that creates a more rounded and lifted appearance.

BBLs can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. The procedure typically takes 2-3 hours.

Recovery from BBLs typically takes 2-4 weeks. Patients may experience pain, swelling, and bruising. They may also need to wear compression garments to help reduce swelling.
BBLs are generally safe procedures.

However, there are some risks associated with the procedure, including

  • Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Seroma (collection of fluid)
  • Fat embolism (blockage of a blood vessel by fat)

BBLs are not for everyone

Candidates for the procedure should be in good overall health and have realistic expectations. They should also be aware of the risks associated with the procedure
